Fiona is an experienced therapist working in private practice with both adults and adolescents on a wide range of issues in Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. She is an Accredited Registered Member of the Irish Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (MIACP) and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy – MBACP (Accred).
Adolescent Psychotherapy
In relation to adolescent psychotherapy, Fiona meets initially with the adolescent and parents in order to undertake a comprehensive relational assessment. Ongoing work will often include some supportive/reparative work between adolescents and their parents, parenting strategy work and individual psychotherapy sessions for the adolescents themselves. Adolescents are offered support and safety to explore and help understand their thoughts, beliefs, feelings & behaviour in a safe and creative environment.
